How to Make Pasta Alfredo with Shrimp

Cooking Pasta Alfredo can be quite easy if you know how to prepare Fettuccine Alfredo. If you don’t, well you’ll just have to learn in order to spoil your with some exquisite Pasta Alfredo with Shrimps.

Utensils: Water jar, bowl, spoon, steel spoon, serving plates.

Ingredients:
Penne pasta or pasta or choice: 12 ounces
Butter: 1/4 cup
Extra-virgin olive oil: 2 tablespoons
Onion, diced: 1 small
Cloves garlic, minced: 2 to 3
Red bell pepper, diced or roasted red bell pepper: 1
Portobello mushrooms, diced: 1/2 pound
Shrimp, peeled and deveined: 1 pound medium
Jar Alfredo sauce: 1 (15 ounce)
Grated Romano cheese or Parmesan cheese: 1/2 cup
Cream: 1/2 cup
Cayenne pepper as per taste (optional): 1 teaspoon
Salt: As per taste
Black pepper: As per taste
Chopped parsley: 1/4 cup

Instructions

    Take a pot and fill it with water. Put the pasta in the pot once the water is boiling hot. Leave the pasta to cook for 8 to 10 minutes until it’s finally ready.

    Drain the pasta once it’s cooked. Set it aside, till you can prepare the shrimps and the sauce.

    Heat a saucepan with Olive oil and Butter in it while the pasta is cooking. This would help you save time, while you can move on with preparing the sauce.

    Next add the onion into the cooking pot and cook it until it becomes soft and translucent. Cooking the onion properly helps in removing the onion’s stingy taste.

    Add the garlic, mushroom, red pepper and mix. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on medium heat.

    Put the shrimps into the cooked onion mixture. Cook them until the shrimps turn pink.

    Pour in the store bought Alfredo sauce, followed by cream into the pot. You’ll have a choice between Romano cheese and Parmesan cheese for including in the cooking pot.
