Ingredients:
Loaf of French bread or Italian bread: 1 16-ounce
(1 stick) unsalted butter, softened: 1/2 cup
Cloves of garlic, properly smashed and minced: 2 large
Parsley (freshly chopped): 1 tablespoon
Parmesan cheese, which is freshly grated (Optional): 1/4 cup
