How to Make Shrimp Salad

This appetising salad belongs to the family of salads that are easy and quick to make. Except from peeling and cooking the shrimp, the rest of the procedure is so easy that even a child can prepare a bowl of this healthy and yummy salad. Moreover, you do not need to spend much as it is very cheap and economical.

However, you may need to take care of few things such as cooking the shrimp yourself instead of using ready-made shrimp and using a reduced amount of raw onion as its bite can be too strong for some people.

Ingredients:
Extra Small cooked shrimp, peeled: 1 lb
Finely chopped celery: 1 cup
Finely chopped sweet onion: 2 tbsp
Finely chopped dill pickle: 2 tbsp
Black pepper: 1/4 tsp
Cayenne pepper (optional): 1/8 tsp
Mayonnaise: 1/2 cup
Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
Fresh white bread crumbs: 1/2 – 1 cup

    First of all, rinse your ingredients and utensils properly to remove all the dirt and germs.

    Now you need to prepare shrimp for your salad. If you are using jumbo shrimp then chop them into smaller pieces. Take a frying pan and cook these shrimp on medium heat. Cook them until they become reddish brown. Remove from the pan and set aside to bring them at normal temperature.

    Pick your bowl and add celery, onion, pickle, black pepper and cayenne. Put all the shrimp in and mix them properly.

    Now pour lemon juice and then mayonnaise. Whisk them properly until it becomes a smooth combination.

    Add fresh bread crumbs to absorb the unnecessary liquid. Mix it properly.
