How to Mount a Projector on the Ceiling
Owning a projector is something everyone wants to do. This is because projectors allow you get that movie theatre experience right in your living room. It makes watching movies a whole lot more fun and most tend to enjoy watching things on a projector, more than they would otherwise.
However, one of the main problems that come with owning a projector, is to figure out just how to position and place it, in order to optimize the viewing experience.
Many have found out that the best way to get the projector to perform at a maximum, is if you go on and place it on your ceiling. This keeps it out of the way and allows it to maximize its effect.
However, it is not an easy task to mount and secure the projector on the ceiling in the first place.

Select Mount
The first step to positioning your projector on the ceiling is to go on and find a suitable mount for the projector that you own. Not all projectors are compatible with all mounts, which is why it would be smart of you to go online and find a mount which will hold your projector and not restrict any of its features.
You must also get a mount that allows you to have space for cables to flow through it easily, without causing any problems in regards to positioning or one that won’t allow you to readjust.

Attach
Attach the mount to the ceiling and place it at the same distance that the viewer will be sitting from the screen. This will allow the screen size to be suitable for viewing and make it easier for everyone to access and watch anything off the projector. -

Cabling
The next step is to run all your cables through the projector and the mound and into the appropriate sockets. You need to make sure your power supply cable can easily travel from the wall socket to the projector. However, you may have to invest in an extension cord or two, in order to make the wires connect easily.
The next cable you need to attach is the video and sound cable. This is going to be coming from your source directly into your projector, and the projector will be acting as the output, in this case, as would a television. Once again, you may need to get extensions, in order to make the wires flow smoothly and not look like they were forced to be positioned in a specific manner.
