How to Move Body Positions for Dynamic Photos

Looking attractive in photos can be an uphill task if you don’t know how to pose for the camera. You must understand that the lens never depicts someone ugly or beautiful. It only shows what is in front of the camera. This means you can be photogenic by making a few adjustments in your appearance.

Making your appearance better does not mean that you need to do makeup rather you can look attractive by having the perfect posture. If you know how to use angles and manipulate body positions then your photos can be really dynamic.

Instructions

    Be natural:

First of all, you must be natural while standing in front of the camera. Some people get nervous, hold their breath and ultimately look ridiculous. You should not do that and if you feel some uneasiness then start talking with someone behind the camera. This will relax your nerves.

    Do not slouch:

Though, sitting or standing easy is very important to make your photos dynamic but you must not slouch as this position will portray you as a lazy person. Just be active and shoot straight on. Make sure that you are facing the camera and that the angle is not awkward. Placing camera above can make you look small and shooting from below can make your legs and hips look unflattering.

    Avoid double chin:

You should move your face up to avoid a double chin. The best way is to fix the camera a little bit above of your nose. In this way, your face will be making an angle automatically and won’t look too large or chubby.

    Use camera angles:

You must not shoot your body square on as you will look like a statue. It is always better to create some angle from the camera lens. With such body positions, you can flatter the least attractive parts of your body.

Put weight on the back leg:

To look like a confident and relaxed person, put weight on your back leg as this move will help you to stand straight. Moreover, your neck will not look stiff with this body position.

    Look away:

Instead of looking into the lens, you can make your picture more attractive by looking at something else. Moreover, your face will look less stiff with this technique.

    Tilt your head:

If your eyes are not getting proper lighting then tilt your head. This allows for some light and ultimately your eyes will sparkle.
