How to Peel and Eat Shrimp

If you love sea food, peel and eat shrimp should be one of the best treats for you. Preparing a serving of peel and eat shrimp is very easy. You just need to pull off shells from the shrimp, splash them up with lemon juice and serve with cocktail sauce in a serving platter.

    Now you need to get rid of the shrimp shell. Pick one shrimp at a time and place it on a plate so that side with the legs faces towards you. Simply place your thumbs in the middle of the side with the legs and pull apart the shell. Try not to tear away the tail while pulling off the shell because you can use the tail as decorative handle.

    Place all the shrimps those have been freed from their shells on a serving platter. To make the shrimps look appetising, serve them circles instead of just piling them up. Leave some space in the centre of the serving platter where you can place a bowl of cocktail sauce later on.

    Use lemon juice to spice up the shrimp. Cut a few lemons into wedges and splash the shrimp with lemon juice. Make sure that you do not use too much lemon juice because you do not want the taste of lemon juice to dominate the flavour of the shrimp.
