The most important thing is to clean yourself completely before offering the Jummah. Your nails should be cut properly and you have to wear clean clothes. If you don’t need the ‘ghusal,’ you can go for the prayers after doing ‘wuddu.’
The latter word means minor ablution whereas the former refers to full body washing.
Find a nearby mosque
Once you have properly washed your body, you should now find a nearby mosque. If you don’t have any clue, you can ask other Muslim brothers, who offer salah five times a day in the mosque.
Prefer walking to the mosque
If the mosque is not distant, prefer walking towards it. There is no need to rush towards it, so walk slowly and stay relaxed.
Reach before the ‘Khutbah’
Before the prayer starts, the Imam of the mosque delivers a speech known as the Khutbah. It is important to listen to it word by word and make sure not to make any noise during it.
Align yourself once the Khutbah ends
After the Khutbah ends, it is important to align according to the Islamic rules. Make sure that you stand close to other Muslim brothers around you.
Make the intention to pray
Make an intention to pray, saying that you will perform two rakaat Jummah prayer and follow the Imam.
Complete the prayer
The Imam will now recite verses from the Quran and follow him to finish the prayer.
