Wash Your Face
Wash out your face thoroughly with soap and water before drying it up with a clean towel.
Take a cotton swab and soak it into fresh lemon juice. Apply the lemon juice on the acne craters by gently tabbing the cotton swab to your face. Let your skin absorb the juice for about 10 minutes and then you better rinse your face properly.
Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda into 2 teaspoons of water. Apply the thick paste onto the affected areas of your skin and rub gently with your fingers. Keep massaging your acne scars for about a minute and then rinse your face. Baking soda is an excellent exfoliating agent and allows your skin to produce new cells.
Olive oil is very good moisturiser for most types of skin. You just have to apply one drop of olive oil onto the acne region of your face and gently rub it so that it is absorbed in the skin. This will not only moisturise your skin but also help lessening the visibility of acne scars by making the skin’s texture softer and lighter. The use of olive oil also brings elasticity to your skin.
Go to a dermatologist for examination and he shall prescribe you the appropriate course of treatment for the acne scars. Your dermatologist might recommend you a V-Beam laser treatment if you have red pigments in the craters and this will diminish the appearance of the scars. You might also have to undergo a series of chemical peels to have new skin cells and fade the marks of craters.
