False eyelashes have become more and more in style now a days. They are the best enhancers as they put in great volume and length to your own eyelashes, creating a fluttery look. Since applying false eyelashes requires the use of strong adhesives / glue, therefore it is better to remove them at the end of the day to not harm your own natural lashes. These adhesives contain chemicals which can also get into your eyes and create problems. Some people find it very daunting to remove the false eyelashes and therefore try to avoid them. On the other hand, it is not difficult at all as you can easily remove them with some of the easily available products.
Proper removal of the false eyelashes has another advantage; that it will protect your natural lashes from damaging and you can also save them for reuse on some other day.

Things you will need to remove False Eyelashes Safely:

- Olive Oil
- Baby Oil
- Luke warm water
- Medium Bowl
- Coconut Oil
- Tissue Paper
- Wash clothes
- Cotton Balls
- Cotton Pads
- Cotton Swaps

Apply warm water – it costs you nothing
Applying warm water is one of the simplest and costless methods of removing the false eyelashes. Pour some warm water into a medium bowl and dip two clean pieces of washcloth in it. Now, place them on your eyes and hold for about one minute, keeping your eyes close. Remove the washcloths and open your eyes. Now, pick the tweezers, hold the false eyelash from the outer edge and peel it off smoothly. Use the tweezers to remove the second lash in the same way.
Try Eye Makeup Remover – its pain-free and lash-friendly
Try Eye Makeup Remover as it is a pain-free and lash-friendly product. Take a cotton pad or cotton swab and dip it in the eye makeup remover. Close your eyes and place the cotton pads on your eyes. Let it sit for a few minutes (may be 2 to 3 minutes) until the glue or adhesive softens well. Now, hold one of the false eyelashes from one side and gently peel it off. Remove the other false eyelash in the same manner.
Note: Do not pull the false lashes while removing them as the skin of your lash line is very sensitive and it can remove your natural eyelashes as well.
Try a cold cream - it is a trouble-free method
Pick up a clean cotton swap and dip it into any cold cream that is available at your dressing table or in your makeup kit. Close your eyes one by one and apply the cold cream to your lash lines. Now, wait until the glue or adhesive of your false lashes become softer. Open one of your eyes, look straight into the mirror and tenderly remove the lash on the other eye. Repeat the same method on your other eye.
Olive oil removes false eyelashes smoothly
Take a tissue paper or cotton pad, dip it into some olive oil and place it on your eyes with false eyelashes. Have patience and wait for the next few minutes until the glue on your lash line softens. Now, smoothly pull out the false eyelash, without damaging your natural ones. Same method should be used for removal of the false eyelash on your other eye.
Try some coconut oil
Apply some coconut oil to a cotton pad or tissue paper and place it on your closed eyes for a few minutes until the glue on them softens. Gently pull the false eyelash with the tip of your fingers. Repeat same method with the other eyelash.
Note: If you are using your fingers for this method, then do not forget to wash your hands in the end as the adhesive contains chemicals. Otherwise you can use weezers or disposable gloves for this purpose.
Baby Oil also works
Take a tissue paper, cotton pad or a cotton ball and dip it in baby oil until it absorbs the oil thoroughly. Now, close one of your eyes, and hold the cotton ball there for several minutes. Remove the lashes with the help of tweezers.
Do not forget to remove the remaining adhesive
Once you remove the false lashes using any of the above methods, do not forget to remove the remaining glue or adhesive on your lash line. Take another cotton swab and dip it into the remaining eye makeup remover, baby oil, olive oil, or coconut oil. Apply the oil to the remaining glue or adhesive on your lash line and wait for a few seconds. Now, soothingly remove the glue with the same cotton swap or tissue paper.
