How to Take a Reiki 2 Class

Reiki – a spiritual practice developed by a Japanese buddhist in 1922 – has two main branches of knowledge or practice. One is Japanese and another one westernized. Although the practitioner of Reiki claim that it serves as an alternative medicine to heal different problems, there is no scientific evidence to support the claim. In fact, many studies have rejected the claim that Reiki is effective in treatment of any medical condition. Nevertheless, if you are interested to learn Reiki, you have to learn it in two class systems – Class I and Class II.

It is possible that you learn Japanese and Western concepts at the same time, and for this you can plan taking classes from a tutor who is expert in both branches of the practice. You can also learn Reiki's western or Japanese alone, since both work effectively, as claimed by their followers.

Another important element here that you should not forget is the quality of the knowledge you gain, and which can be associated with the price you pay for it. Do not compromise on the quality while giving consideration to the cost aspect of the course.

If you are a working person and cannot take classes during weekdays, you can plan the classes on the weekends. This in fact is even more helpful because you can concentrate in each class without being worried about other engagements. If you are not able to get both classes on the same weekend, you can plan them on two weekends. Discussing the matter with the person or institute that is offering the course can help solve the issue of time availability for you.
