How to Take a Water Efficient Shower

One of the most precious resources that the earth is running out of is water. Water, which makes up most of our planet is set to run out in the future, given the way we consume it with no remorse. As a result, there may be a time when no one would have access to water all across the world.

Most of us tend to waste the most water when we are taking showers. This is because we keep the shower running, aren’t really sure what we want to do and then end up wasting water quite significantly.

However, using water efficiently in the shower would help save more water for the earth, but in the end it would also save us some money.

    Take colder showers

Using hot water results in us wasting quite a bit of water, till the hot water starts running. This process leads to a lot of water being wasted, which is why it might be smarter to start taking cold showers, so you don’t have to wait for any water to run before you can step in.

At the same time, doing this will save a lot of money that you spend on heating your water in the first place.

    Soak and turn off

Now you need to take about thirty seconds to one minute to soak your hair in the shower, and to get your entire body wet. Once your hair is soaked and your body has been washed down a few times, turn off the shower.

Once the shower is off, you need to apply shampoo to your hair and massage it in. At the same time, you should apply water all over your body during this point as well.
