How to Teach Pool Safety for Preschool

Kids love the water and they hate being restricted so parents should be very cautious while their kids are going to take a dip in the pool. Remember, a preschooler can drown even in one inch of water if you have not followed pool safety rules. You should supervise your children while they are enjoying swimming in the pool as any negligence may lead you to a tragedy.

However, this warning does not mean that you escort your children out of the pool and do not allow them to enjoy their preschool summers. All you need is to be aware of pool etiquettes as these small preventative measures can really save your kids from any unfortunate incident.

Share some imaginary incidents from your childhood and tell them how you managed to survive. You may choose cartoon movies that teach your children the pool safety.

    You can teach them in more interesting way. Do pool safety drills with them. Teach them how to wear life jacket and instruct them to keep it on while playing near water. You should tell them how to use floating mats and swimming devices.
