The Museum is located at the base of the Federal Hill, right next to the downtown region of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
There is abundant parking space available on Covington Street and Key Highway. Moreover, if you’re looking for a public parking spot, that can be found at the Public Parking Lot right next to the Rusty Scupper Restaurant on Key Highway. However, the public parking space would charge you, as it’s a paid parking lot.
The admission price for an Adult is $15.95, while the price for a student or child is $9.95. Senior citizens get a discount on the ticket price, with the ticket costing them only $13.95. Children who are currently aged six or under do not have to buy tickets as their admission is free. Furthermore, admission for members is also free, as membership has its benefits.

Guided Tours are also available for the visitors. If you’re accompanied with children, make sure they are accompanied by you at all times. There are no extra charges for a guided tour. However, if you’re arranging a group tour you need to contact the museum administration at least two weeks before the planned visit.
The AVAM also includes a restaurant, known as Mr. Rain’s Funhouse. The restaurant provides a classical American dining experience to its customers. It serves lunch at 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM from Tuesday to Friday and brunch at 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM from Saturday to Sunday. However, the dinner is served at different timings throughout the week. From Wednesday to Thursday the dinner is served at 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. From Friday to Saturday the dinner is served at 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM. And on Sundays it’s served at 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM.
