Writing a Complaint Letter to a Corporation

Whether you are unsatisfied with a product or a service, you can write a complaint letter to a corporation in order to express your disappointment. While most local complaints are addressed to immediate managers and/or owners of franchises, bigger, quality related complaints are sent to the main corporation, especially in the case of finished products.

Often corporations also provide their contact details on product packaging, such as food and beverages. Since there is a small chance of third party contamination in such products, corporations address your complaints directly.

Here we will show you how to write a complaint letter to a corporation and also provide a sample and a template for your reference.

    To,
    Mr Jacob Oram,
    Sales Manager,
    Collie & Smith Enterprises,
    85 Sunset Boulevard,
    Birmingham – 672981

    Dear Mr Oram,

This letter is to register our complaint against your product “Smart Teacher”, a companywide license for which was purchase by our organization on December 1, 2013. It was claimed that using your products our employees could learn any language required, provided we had a subscription for it.

Unfortunately, there have been several issues with your software from day one. Firstly, despite your technical team having installed it on our servers and employee computers, there were licensing errors, as the software prompted employees to enter registration keys, even though the company had paid registered already.

Moreover, we had purchased the unlimited subscription package, allowing for all languages to be accessible, but our employees have been having issues accessing several language packs, which again ask for subscription information.

We have contacted your support department and have also created tickets (#459KK0, #694QL), but our issues remain unresolved.

Having exhausted all avenues, I am writing this letter to register a formal complaint from our organization. Kindly look into our issues and provide appropriate support.

If these issues persist, we will be forced to terminate our licensing agreement and seek legal action.

Hoping to resolve our issues amicably,

    Sincerely,

    Paul Adam
