    You must find out your genre in order to utilize your skills properly. Try to explore the things which you would love to hear or spend time with. Most of the poems have been written on romance and nature because it is easy to portray one’s thoughts on them. However, it is not necessary for you to choose between romance and nature. You can write a poem on anything e.g. your best friend, your driver, your parents, siblings or on your feelings regarding any aspect of your life related to failure or success in any particular incident or competition.

    You cannot write a good poem until or unless you have good writing skills. Good writing skills come from sound knowledge about grammar and composition. Therefore, you must improve your grammar so as to write a good poem.
