Kew Gardens Tube Station London

The Kew Gardens Tube station is an underground stop on the District line that is located in the Kew area of North West London. The tube station, which also provides access to National Rail lines, is frequented by tourists and visitors making their way to the famous  Royal Botanic Gardens and The National Archives. This is also where the station derives its name from. The station started services in 1869 and dropped people off in the Kew area which, at the time, had markets and orchards. Today, the station holds much of the charm that it did in the past. The building and bridge built at the station are considered good examples of the time they were built. Kew Gardens tube station has other characteristics that set it apart from other stations, including a bar that is directly connected to the building. Facilities available at the tube stop include bathrooms, parking and several options for disabled commuters. Since the station houses underground and overground trains, the building has 3 entrances and exits. The doors at North Road (East), North Road Entrance (West) and Station Approach all lead to the ticket counters and street level. Places to explore near Kew Gardens Tube Station.
