Morden Road tram stop is one of the busiest Tramlink stops in London that is serving in the London Borough of Merton. This tram stop was opened in 2000 along with the other Tramlink stops at the site of a former rail station called Morden Road railway station that was closed in 1997. Today Morden Road tram stop is operating with double tracks that have two platforms on both sides of them. These platforms are connected with each other through perambulator level crossings. Entrance to this tram stop can be made via Morden Road, where patrons can use stairs and slope to get to the eastbound platform.
