PCC is the abbreviation of Price Charles Cinema located at Leicester Square. Without receiving any fund, this cinema has been running independently and providing Londoners with entertainment. Besides recent Hollywood releases you can also watch classic hits and phenomenal movie releases. The cinema contains two screens with an accommodation of 104 seats upstairs and 285 seats on the lower portion of the building. Being the only independent cinema in West-end, this venue has accomplished in making a brilliant reputation. Previously only one screen was present at the cinema but with two screens, now Londoners can enjoy latest as well as old movies.

    History:

    Price Charles Cinema was built in 1961, but its doors opened in the year 1962. Designer Carl Fishes and his Associate Architects designed this building beautifully. The building was initially working as a theater but it was later converted into a cinema. It is rumored that a ghost haunts the upper level of the cinema, but it has been a rumor and remains as such till now.

    Leicester Square (Stop J) is the nearest bus stop where bus numbered 24, 29, 176, N5, N20, N29, N41 and N279 reach. To cover 0.1 mile distance in 3 minutes head north on Charing Cross Rd/A400 towards Little Newport St and left onto Little Newport St. The last left turn will take you towards your destination.
