Skin cancer is caused due to the malignant growth of the cells in the epidermis. Since this abnormality results in the formation of a tumour, the disease is easily detected in its early stages.

Generally, cancer is a disease which is deemed by many as incurable. In some cases, the patients die because of their psychological weakness in dealing with the ailment, and not because of cancer itself.

    One way to prevent yourself from getting effected from this disease is by limiting your direct exposure to sun. Plan your outings so as to limit them during the peak afternoon hours. This will also help prevent getting sunburns and suntans.

    Sunscreen should be used at all times if need arises to travel in the open sun. Although it won’t neutralize the entire harmful effects of the sun’s ultraviolet rays, it will surely serve to minimize them.
