Take a large serving bowl and place mango, cherries, green grapes, strawberries, and apricots in it. Put the bowl away for now.
Use a spice mill or pestle and mortar to thinly grind the desiccated coconut.
Place the grinded coconut in a medium bowl and add in the caster sugar, cayenne pepper and mustard powder. Pick a large spoon or fork and mix all the ingredients properly.
Now, drizzle the coconut-mixture over the fruit slices in the large serving bowl and gently toss to mix all in the ingredients. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrapping sheet and place it in a refrigerator for around 2 hours, or if at all possible, overnight in order to let the flavors blend well and develop.
Note: It is better to make Spiced Seasonal Fruit Salad prior to the arrival of your guests, or the serving time, so that you can get enough time to refrigerate it.
Serve the Spiced Seasonal Fruit Salad once refrigerated well.
