Spinach and Apple Salad is an amazing dish and when combined with nuts like almonds or walnuts, it becomes all the more nutritious and flavorsome. Servings: 3 persons
-1 Bunch Spinach Leaves (Stemmed and Finally Chopped)
-2 Apples, cored and sliced
-8 to 10 cardamom seeds
-1 cup Cheddar cheese (Finally Cubed)
-1/2 cup chopped almonds
-1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
-1/4 cup olive oil
-Salt (To Taste)
-Sugar (To Taste)
-Grounded Black Pepper (To Taste)
Take a frying pan and heat oil in it and keep the flame low. In the meanwhile, take a cup of water and add the desired amount of sugar in it and stir well until it gets dissolved. Now add this into the frying pan along with cardamom seeds and almonds and turn off the flame after half a minute. Set it aside and let it cool down.
Take the stated amount of apple cider vinegar and to taste salt and grounded black pepper in a separate bowl and stir it well with a spoon and set it aside.
Next take the apples and core and slice them into small cubes.
After this take out the salad serving bowl/platter and add the apple cubes and chopped spinach in it. Now take the dressings that you have just prepared and pour it over and toss well until the spinach and apples are completely coated with it. The salad is ready.
After preparing this salad, you can refrigerate it for 30 to 40 minutes and then serve.
