Mr. and Mrs. Vassilyev:
This family has broken the record of having the largest family in the world. From 1725 to 1765, Mr. Vassilyev’s first wife gave birth to 69 children out of which 67 survived. Another amazing fact is that there were 16 sets of twins, 7 triplets and 4 quadruplets out of those 67 children.

Mr. and Mrs. Yakov Kirillov:
This is the second largest family in the world that lived in the 17th century in a rural area in Russia. They parented 57 children and amazingly they had ten sets of twins, seven sets of triplets and four sets of quadruplets.

Leontina Albina and Gerardo Secundo:
This is the third largest family in the world and had parented 55 children and miraculously they had 5 sets of triplets out of those 55 children with all boys. In addition to this it is said that there were 9 more children born to them but there is no evidence of their existence.

Mr. and Mrs. William:
This is yet another large family as Mr. and Mrs. William had 39 children out of which 7 were sons and 32 were daughters. This is incredibly large number of children with single births as the couple had a single set of twins.

Mary and John Jonas:
This coupe was blessed with 33 children. What’s so special about this couple is that they had 15 sets of twins and each set was born with one boy and one girl.

Moddie and Perccell Oliver:
Mrs. Moddile and Mr. Oliver had 32 children out of which 22 are still alive. In 1959 it was reported that Mrs. Oliver was expecting her 33rd child but whether the child was born or not is still not known.
