Ingredients
Boneless chicken - 6 pieces
Eggs - 1 to 2
Corn flour - 4 tbsp
Plain flour - 4 tbsp
Vinegar - 2 tbsp
Soya sauce - 1 tbsp
Chili sauce - 1 ½ tbsp
Black pepper - ½ tsp
Mustard powder - ½ tea spoon
White pepper - 3 tea spoon
Garlic cloves - 4 to 5 - Finely chopped or preferably paste
Salt - as required
Chinese salt - as required
Chicken cubes - 2
Oil - 1 tbsp for frying
Instructions
The very first thing you need to do is wash the raw chicken thoroughly. After washing the chicken marinate it with 1 tbsp oil, Chinese salt, 4 to 5 garlic cloves, 2 tbsp vinegar, 1 tea spoon white pepper and salt.
Leave the chicken for sometime after marinating and then put it in the steamer till the chicken becomes soft.
While steaming, keep changing the sides of the chicken pieces so that the chicken is steamed properly.
Allow the chicken to cool after steaming.
In a separate bowl, prepare a mixture with eggs, 1½ tbsp chili sauce, 1 tbsp Soya sauce, 1 tsp white pepper, ½ tsp black pepper, ½ tsp mustard powder, 4 tbsp plain flour, 4 tbsp corn flour and chicken cubes.
Dip the pieces of chicken in the prepared mixture and soak thoroughly. If the mixture is too thick and you find it difficult to work with, then either add 2 to 3 tbsp spoon of milk in it or separately soak in eggs and then coat with the mixture.
After you are done with coating the chicken pieces, put them into a pan and deep fry.
Make sure that the oil in the pan is preheated for 3 to 5 minutes before you put the chicken pieces.
