In the summer when you are feeling low after spending many hours under the burning sun, what else can be better than a scoop of ice cream? Normally, those who are diet conscious avoid eating ice cream due to significant quantity of fat but yogurt almond ice cream is a low fat tasty treat that nobody can resist.
Ingredients
Fat-free plain yogurt, without gum additives or stabilizers: 2 cups
Low-fat vanilla soy milk (soy milk), chilled: 1 cup
Honey: ⅓ cup
Canola oil: 1 tablespoon
Coarsely chopped almonds: ¼ cup
Instructions
Rinse the utensils to stay away from germs and dust. Let them dry properly before using them.
Pick the bowl and pour yogurt, soy milk, honey and canola oil. Keep whisking until it becomes a smooth mixture.
When you feel that all the ingredients have been blended properly then you should pour that mixture into ice cream maker. Put it in the refrigerator for three hours so that it becomes the proper shape.
After it gets hard, take out the ice cream and scoop it into the serving bowls.
You are not done yet as it’s time to garnish ice cream cups to make it more presentable. Spread chopped almonds and then serve the dish to your loved ones.
