How to Do CPR on a Child

– Do not perform CPR until you know its proper procedure as it can make the condition of the child more critical.
– Do not forget to keep an open airway at all times during the whole CPR.
– Keep an eye on the child’s chest while breathing into him or her mouth in order to make sure that your breaths are going in properly and his or her chest is rising with your breaths.
– Never give the child breaths that are too large as their lungs are smaller than yours are.
– Make sure not to use too much force while compressing the chest of the child.
