Chop the onions
Take a sharp knife and chop the onions into a small bowl. You can use the chopper as well, but if you don’t have it, there is no need to worry at all, because the knife will serve the purpose.
Slice the tomatoes
Now, you have to slice the tomatoes, using the knife. You can chop them too, but some people like the big chunks, so you can do whatever suits you. Once they are done, add them to the same bowl with the onions.
Add additional ingredients
If you wish to enhance the taste, you can add the cucumber, cabbage and yogurt to the bowl and mix it properly with the other ingredients.
Add seasonings and juice
You can now add seasoning as per your taste. Toss the mixture in a way that it settles down nicely. Then pour some juice of your own choice, lemon would be ideal though.
Serve in a plate
You can now serve the Kenyan Kachumbari in a plate.
