– If you do not want to install the roof rack in future, fill the screw holes with auto body filler such as Bondo and then use the touch-up paint.
– You may not be able to lift off the rack all on your own. If you so much as suspect that you may damage the paintwork on your Explorer while trying to remove the roof rack, ask a friend for help.
