– You must always use a wooden ladder if you want to work near power lines. Aluminium and steel ladders are good conductors of electricity.
– Always use both hands when you climb or descend the ladder as you need to keep a good balance .
– Make sure there are no children near the ladder when you are working as they might get hurt, or cause the ladder to trip over.
