– You need to understand the reason behind data loss from hard disk. If your disk contains numerous scratches, do not throw it right away. Practice shows that in many cases the recovery of information is still possible despite bad sectors on the disk. However, the data from the disk cannot be restored if there are significant scratches on the head of the disk. If there are scratches on this particular area, it is safe to say that the information cannot be retrieved and no software can help you out in this case.
