Mink oil at times causes the leather to get slightly darker. If you can get a chamois cloth or a flannel then it would be best. You may use mink oil every season or may be after a few months to keep your leather in the best of shape. Beeswax is often mixed in the mink oil to augment its conditioning benefits.
