– Keep in mind that you cannot use the clone tool casually to create a good looking image. You will have to be patient while using the clone tool.
– Make sure that you keep saving you work at regular intervals. This way you will be able to restore better portion of the changes you are making even if GIMP crashes due to any possible reason. Simply press ‘Ctrl + S’ to save the changes you are making.
