Using Onomatopoeia in Writing

– As is the case with normal vocabulary, onomatopoeia words change with language. For example, the onomatopoeia for gun firing in the English language is ‘bang’. On the other hand, ‘gaf’ is the onomatopoeia in the Russian language for the same word.
– Do not use onomatopoeia excessively as this will have a negative effect on the reader and you might fail to convey your message properly.
