Hotel Guide: Charlotte, North Carolina

So you’ve found yourself in Charlotte, North Carolina and as you’re sitting around and bathing in the wonderfully warm southern sun. The first hotel in which I reviewed is The Westin Charlotte hotel located in a premier uptown location of the city’s financial district. Are you in need of going to the various other districts? Well, a short trolley ride quickly takes guests of The Westin Charlotte to the cities hottest dining and entertainment districts. This hotel features 38,217 square feet of meeting space, which is awesome for a businessman or businesswoman who is in need for a great meeting room. All guest rooms and suites feature the Heavenly Bed dual-line telephones with voice messaging, large work desks, in-room data port, complimentary gourmet coffee, in-room moves, and minibar. The Westin Charlotte also offers a full-service concierge and well-equipped business center available for all guests of this wonderful hotel. A number of attractions are within minutes of the hotel including the shops and restaurants of Historic South End, the Charlotte Convention Center, and Bank of America Stadium, which is the home of the Carolina Panthers. Also, all of the hotel space is non-smoking.

The second hotel in which I reviewed is the Marriott Charlotte City Center. This hotel is located in downtown Charlotte, and is only five blocks away from the convention center and the Bank of America Stadium. The Marriott Charlotte City Center is home to four amazingly wonderful restaurants for those guests who like plenty of options. Are you in need of a fitness center to keep you in shape even when you are away from your home? Well, at the Marriott Charlotte City Center, there is a fitness center located on-site to keep your abs in shape. Also, wireless Internet access is complimentary in all public areas and meeting rooms – so there is no nee for you to be out of contact with your friends, family and work. This hotel is home to 426 guestrooms within its 19-story frame. All rooms offer cable/satellite TV with premium channels and pay movies. They also consist multi-line phones with voice mail. The “Wired-for-Business” package includes high-speed Internet access, unlimited local calls, and unlimited long distance calls (within the US). All of this is available to every guest for only $9.95.

And the last hotel I reviewed for your picking is the four-star Omni Charlotte Hotel. This hotel lies within the perfect location, as it is located near all major arena and art venues. The hotel s also located in Charlotte’s city center, which means the Omni Charlotte Hotel is adjacent to the OverStreet Mall and is only one block from the Charlotte Arena and the Performing Arts Center; the convention center is only three blocks away. Another amazing amenity this hotel offers all of its guests is a rooftop splash pool which provides city views. This swimming pool is an heated swimming pool which is located sixteen stories above the ground. Another great amenity is the hotel offers complimentary wireless Internet access, which is available in the cyber cafÃ?©, tucked away in the corner of the lounge. The business center has computers with high-speed Internet access available for a surcharge. This sixteen-story hotel has 365 guestrooms, all of which have city views. All rooms offer complimentary wireless Internet access, CD players, and cable TV with premium channels and pay movies. All beds have feather pillows, and the bathrooms features Institute Swiss toiletries, marble vanities, and soft cotton robes.
