How to Do a Guillotine in Mixed Martial Arts

The guillotine choke, which is also known as Mae Hadaka Jime in judo, is a very effective chokehold in martial arts and wrestling, thus making it a regular feature in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).  It involves a person moving in on his opponent, sliding his arms around the latter’s neck, pulling him down, wrapping his legs around his opponent’s waist and then squeezing the arms to shut off the air from the lungs. The grapple move depends on a number of things for successful execution, which include swiftness, strength and training.
