This center was founded in 1932 by Dr Henry W Featherstone and Sir Ivan Magill. From the beginning their main focus was on Anesthesia, because they aimed to provide safety in sleep. “In somno securitas” was the actual motto of Anaesthesia Heritage Centre’s founders, which means “Safe in Sleep”. In order to proof and keep the usage of this medical facility secure, in the year 2010 the association of Anaesthesia Heritage Centre signed the Helsinki Declaration for Patient Safety in Anesthesiology.

How to Reach the Anaesthesia Heritage Centre:
Oxford Circus Tube Station is 0.3 mile away from the Center, which makes it the nearest rapid transit. By walk, it will take 7 minutes to cover the required distance.
