If you feel that after your hectic work day there are a lot of chores still to get home to do then maybe you should consider ways to minimize that. Try getting your kids or spouse to help you out if they can. If they can’t however don’t get down; there are other ways. In this article I will talk about things that you can do before you go to work to have less house chores to do when you get out. These are all simple and you can finish within 45 minutes usually. All you have to do to be able to get all this done is wake up maybe an hour earlier than you usually do.

– Sweep and mop
This is the last thing that you should do before leaving your house. It’s something easy and that doesn’t take more than 10 minutes if you do it everyday because there wont be that much dirt to pick up. Keep your mop clean to avoid having to wash it before you actually mop. Leave it so that you only have to fill the bucket with water and add the floor cleaning supplies to it.

– Wash dishes
If you have a dish washer then before going to work you should load it up and get it going. It won’t take you long at all and it will ensure that you don’t have a kitchen sink full of dirty dishes when you get home. Instead you will have a dish washer full of clean ones. If you don’t have a dishwasher then take about 10 minutes to wash out whatever you can; you most like will finish everything. Get into the habit of washing all the dishes you use right after you use them.

– Take out the trash
Take out the inside trashes as you go room by room in the mornings. Put them inside of the kitchen trash and then take it out of the house once you’re leaving. Not leaving trash is a very good thing because you will not have to worry about the smell that trash causes, about getting bugs inside of your trash can and you will surely not have to get home and take out the trash which is very irritating if you have to do it.

– Do beds
As soon as you wake up or you and your spouse you should do your bed. It doesn’t take more than 5 minutes at all. If you have kids you should teach them how to make their own beds and they should get into the habit of doing it right after they wake up also. The habit that you have to avoid getting used to is leaving your bed unmade for more than a day. If you get home from work and all the beds are unmade chances are that you will leave them like that; don’t get into this!

– Put in a load of laundry
How long could it possibly take you to put in a load of towels or whites before going to work? Just let the water run with the soap and when you hear it start spinning run to it and drop the clothes in. You will not spend longer than 5 minutes doing this.

All of these things as you can see will not take you more than 45 minutes to do so get them done and you will feel more happy when you get home at all the less chores you have.
