The Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State offers a variety of family-oriented Halloween celebrations for families to participate in. Here are some of the best known:

Located at the Kitsap Fairgrounds is a Halloween festivity known as Haunted Fairgrounds Barn. This celebration is taking place in a building near Presidents Hall. Over the years, the Fairgrounds Halloween Barn party has grown from one barn to multiple venues.

The Halloween festivities are October 20, 21, 27, 28, and 31st. From 5:00 to 6:00 pm lights are on. From 6:00 to 11:00 pm lights are off.

A Halloween celebration known as No Ghoul, No Gore, and No Scare is happening at Pheasant Fields Farm in Silverdale, Washington. Activities include a farm tour, flashlight corn maze walk, and campfire entertainment.

Go north in Kitsap County to Bainbridge Island and find family Halloween festivities at the Bainbridge Gardens Nature Trail. This is celebration is known as the Annual Pumpkin Walk. There are over 300 lighted, carved pumpkins here. The event is a fundraiser for the Bainbridge Island Boys and Girls Club.

Admission is free with a suggested donation. Activities and sites include Trail of Pumpkins, Harvest Maze, Harvest light displays, and a corn maze – amongst others.

The Annual Pumpkin Walk is held on October 20 and 21 from 6 to 8:30 pm.

On the south end of the Kitsap County is Gig Harbor, Washington. Gig Harbor is holding a family-oriented Halloween celebration at Peninsula Gardens. The party is known as the Covered Pumpkin Patch 2006.

There is no admission fee for this Halloween celebration. Held on the weekend, donations are accepted for the local FISH food bank. There are hourly hayrides, a Hay Maze, mini haunted house, and a pumpkin patch.

During the week, groups can take tours. Kids receive a spooky pumpkin, goody bag, and can partake of a story time. Cost is $4 per child.

Port Gamble, Washington is another city offering family-oriented Halloween festivities. Their event will be held on October 31. There will be no cost. This area provides a wonderful background to the beauty of Halloween lights and festivities. The entire locale is usually decorated brightly for the Halloween celebration.
