And the last hotel in which I reviewed is the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This three-and-a-half-star hotel is located in the center of downtown Akron, and it is literally within walking distance to the University of Akron. This hotel is one of the world’s most unique hotels, due to the fact that it lies within the old Quaker Oats Factory. This hotel has over 80,000-square-feet of meeting and banquet space, as well as being full of memorabilia from this hotels past. As a guest of this hotel you have the option of staying in one of the deluxe “round” rooms. This room is literally built into the grain silos that the Quaker Oats Company used to store its grains.
