Untitled Poem 6

An aged man pale and white
Glimmers among the meadow
Dancing drearily among blue deer

The once solitude sky expands
From the meadow to cottages the occasional sun shines enormous
Shuddering rose beds along the spotted hill ridge

Mist foils the afternoon
Soon turning to frost
As the aged man’s footsteps
Find its way to desolate remorse

Yellowing clouds hang threatening
Flickers of hail descend
Clawing, scraping the once blossoming trees

The occasional flicker of light dies
The pallid moon rises
The aged man lies silent
Adorning man’s black crown
