The profits for the Oktoberfest will Tulsa’s River Parks to create new playgrounds for the city’s children and to make other improvements to the parks. So you can come, have a great family time and help the children of Tulsa at the same time The Tulsa Oklahoma Oktoberfest will be held October 19 – 22. on the west bank of the Arkansas River at 2100 S. Jackson Avenue The Oktoberfest is handicapped accessible. This year marks their 28th anniversary and they are an award winning Oktoberfest, acknowledged as one of the best, so they have the experience and dedication to make sure you and your family have a good, safe time. The cost is, only $3 per person, daily Children 12 & younger: Free!.Friday, Oct. 20 Only: Free Admission for all until 4 p.m. AND for $6 you can purchase a pass that will give you access for all four days. This value cannot be beaten, for sure. Dogs are allowed on the grounds as long as they are leashed, but they are not allowed in the tents. Please think twice before you bring your pet. You might enjoy having him with you, but there will be a large crowd of unfamiliar people. You cannot tell how the dog will react, epically if you leave it outside when you enter the tent. You don’t want something to happen that would ruin the day for you and possibly someone else

Since an Oktoberfest is a harvest festival, the main focus is on food and drink and there will be plenty of both to satisfy everyone. Let’s not forget the best part DESSERTS How about some ,Strawberry or fudge, Newberg, Chocolate-dipped cheesecake, Belgian Waffles with strawberries & whipped cream, Strudel (apple, cheese or cherry), Bavarian Cheesecake, Mudslide Cake and, Funnel Cakes. Now, to wash that all down you can choose from Pepsi, beer, both domestic and imported, non alcoholic beer, wine, iced tea, coffees, apple cider, fresh-squeezed lemonade and many other choices. So make sure to bring a big appetite. All beer drinkers are required to wear an I.D. wristband. And in order to purchase a wristband, you must have ID NO exceptions. If an underage drinker is found their drink will be poured on the ground and they are subject to arrest. Drink responsibly and have a designated driver. If you do not have one, cabs will be available to make sure you get home safely And the rides are free. so there is no excuse not to use them.

Ok, now on to the fun, after all you are going to have to work off all the delicious food. Entertainment will be going on at four different venues. There will be plenty of music and dancing. Friday the 20th is a special day for all. First of all it is carnival day, with unlimited rides for the kids for just $10 and Friday evening for everyone. and it is also seniors day when anyone over 55 gets special treatment with free shuttle bus service and there is free admission all day for everyone. And there there is the Tulsa Oklahoma Oktoberfest Bier Barrel Race. Come and join a team get free drinks and se if you are the fastest barrel rollers,

The kids are not going to be left out, not at all. They will have their own ten with their own fun and entertainment. The group RD Frequency from Radio Disney will be there Thursday and Friday evening from 5-6 PM, so the kids can come and party on down with them and maybe win a prize or two. There will be clowns, free arts and crafts, music just for them ( hint, make sure they practice the chicken dance)
