Comet Cocktail Recipe
Comet cocktail is one among the high quality and very easy to make drinks. This citrus flavoured refreshing cocktail consists of Cognac, fresh Yellow Grapefruit Juice, Van der Hum Liqueur, and Angostura Bitters. This South African liqueur makes just one drink. Equipments Require: Cocktail Shaker and cocktail glass
(2 ounces) Cognac
(1 ounce) fresh Yellow Grapefruit Juice
(1/2 ounce) Van der Hum Liqueur
(1 dash) Angostura Bitters
Ice cubes or crushed ice
A thin lemon wedge for garnishing purpose -optional
Place a cocktail glass and place it in your refrigerator until you make the drink.
Take a cocktail shaker and half fill it with crushed ice or ice cubes.
Add 2 ounces of Cognac, 1 ounce of fresh Yellow Grapefruit Juice, 1/2 ounce of Van der Hum Liqueur and 1 dash of Angostura Bitters into your cocktail shaker.
Cover the lid of the cocktail shaker properly and shake it vigorously for approximately 30 seconds or until all the ingredients mix well.
Take out your chilled cocktail glass from refrigerator and gradually pour the Comet Cocktail into it.
Garnish it with a thin lemon wedge and serve immediately.
