How to Make Italian Trifle Dessert

Italian trifles are amongst the most delicious desserts in the world. They have range of tastes from sweeter to bitter. Trifles are known to be the best sweet dishes to have with any meal. They are usually made with fruits or sponge cake at the bottom and then a layer of custard or cream on the top and garnished with dry fruits. Italian trifle is one of the most famous Italian desserts. Following guide will teach you to make Italian dessert in 30 minutes for two to three people.

Preparation time: 30 minutes

Serving size: 2 to 3 people


–          One cup of fresh cream

–          One cup of freshly prepared Jelly

–          250 grams of fresh fruits

–          Half cup of milk

–          One cup of sugar

–          Butter according to your choice

–          Dry fruit according to your choice

–          250 grams of Twig biscuits

–          Custard powder as required

    First step is to prepare custard. Boil half litre of milk with one cup of sugar until it is completely dissolved.

    Now mix the cream with dissolution created in step one.

    Take one cup of water and mix the custard powder in it.

    Slowly pour this mixture in to mixture of milk and cream and cook them on low heat for approximately 5 minutes. When the whole mixture becomes hard, now cool it. Custard is all set now.

    Take a separate bowl and put the 250 grams twig biscuits in layered fashion and then pour some butter on it. Now spread another layer of half of the custard then cream and fruits.  Place another layer of custard over it and then garnish it with dry fruits and cream.
