On the LendingTree homepage, point to the ‘Home Loans’ tab and click ‘Buy a Home’.
Select the type of home that you want to purchase. Single family home, Town home, Condo, Multi family dwelling and Mobile/Manufactured home are the five available options. Choose the option that best describes the type of home for which you want the loan.
Click ‘Start Loan Request’ button. You will now be required to provide some details.
Choose your plan on using the home. Would it be your primary or secondary residence or are you planning to use the home as investment property.
Select the state and city in which you are going to but the house. Now you will be asked if you have found the new home or not. Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.
Next you will be asked if you are working with a real estate agent or not and if you would like to have a no obligation consultation from a real estate agent or not. Answer both this questions by choosing ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.
From a drop down menu, choose your planned purchase price. It can be above $2 million. If you are planning to buy an average sized home, you should choose the range $200,001 - $250,000.
Choose what percent of the estimated purchase price you have at your disposal. For instance, if you are planning to purchase a home within the $200,001 - $250,000 range, and the down payment that you have at your disposal is $50,000 choose the range 21-30%.
Choose if you want to have home improvement services in the area or not. You will need to category of home improvement service from a drop down menu if you choose ‘Yes’. You may choose more than one categories if you want.
Choose your estimated credit rating. You may have to order a credit score report from a credit bureau for this purpose. Next, enter you date of birth and choose if you or your spouse has ever served in the US military.
You will be asked if you declared bankruptcy in the past 7 years or not. If the answer is ‘Yes’, choose when was it removed from your record.
Continue in the same way and provide all the required information. Finally, enter your phone number and social security number. Click ‘View Free Offers’ to get a list of available offers and the details pertaining to each loan offer. Select the offer that best suits you and apply for the loan.
