Get it Registered
The next step will be to get your logo registered with a local body that looks into the registration of companies. Once you do that, the logo will be officially assigned to your company but the job is not completed as yet.

Get it Copyrighted
This is the most important step of all. Once you have the logo registered, get in contact with the copyrighting and trademark authority. In some places, it is a local body where as in others; it may be done by one national organisation. They will require your logo and a number of other supporting documents to register the logo in your company’s name. The process can take some time and you will have to be patient. There is a fee associated which you will most likely have to submit at the local office or at the given bank account of the authority depending on the local rules.
