How to Make A Bunny Rabbit Cake

Bunny Rabbit Cakes are adorable and loved by children. It is a delicacy popular during Easter and is one of the relatively easy dishes to make. The best way is to make two pound cakes in round pans and decorate them with frost, cookies and candies. Many different things can be used to decorate the cake but cookies and candies are two of the most frequently used items.

A white frosting can be used for a White Bunny Rabbit Cake and similarly a chocolate frosting is also an option. It is very easy to make and also less time consuming as the cake can be served within an hour at most.

Utensils: 2 round cake pans, 14×20 inches piece of cardboard, aluminium foil

Box of cake mix: 1
Baking powder: 2 tablespoon
Eggs: 2
Water: 1½ cup
Flaked coconut: ½ cup
Chocolate morsels
Candy kisses
Food colouring
Ready to use frosting: 2 cans

    First of all, take two round cake pans and pour half of the cake mix in each pan. Now add 1 tablespoon of baking powder and an egg to each pan and also divide the water equally in the two baking pans. Stir the mixture in the two pans and bake at a temperature of 350°F. When baked, set the two round cakes aside so that they cool down

    To assemble the Bunny Rabbit Cake, cover the cardboard with aluminium foil first. Make sure all the wrinkles are put aside as the sheet will serve as the base of the Bunny Rabbit Cake

    Now place one round cake in the centre as this piece will be the Bunny’s head. The second round cake has to be cut in three pieces so that two pieces represent the ears of the rabbit whereas the third would serve as the lower body

    Frost the top and sides of the cake place on the cardboard sheet and make sure no part of the cake is left. Sprinkle the flaked coconut on the ears to give them a more authentic look and place two candies in the middle for the eyes

    The cake can be further decorated with candies and cookies as desired to make it more colourful. The cake should be loosely covered if there is a need to store for some time
