The classic fool proof fudge is the best way to get into Christmas spirit and enjoy the vacations to the fullest. The basic fudge recipe remains the same and you can make your own variations to it to satisfy the taste buds. The fool proof fudge cake is going to remain a family favourite for years.
  • Vegetable oil, cooking spray
  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Unsalted butter - 6 tablespoons
  • Cream - 1 cup
  • Mini marshmallows - 3½ cups
  • Semisweet or white chocolate chips - 3 cups
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Crushed peppermint candy - ½ cup
  1. Take the baking pan.
  2. Line it with parchment paper.
  3. It is better to use two layers of paper to make sure that all parts of the inner pan are covered.
  4. Lay one layer lengthwise and the other width wise for maximum cover.
  5. Now coat the parchment layer with cooking spray so that it is greased and you can easily take out the fudge.
  6. Take a deep saucepan and place it on medium heat.
  7. Add to it sugar, salt, butter, cream, and marshmallows and cook them together.
  8. Keep stirring constantly for 6 minutes or until you see the butter and marsh mellows melt.
  9. Cook the mixture until it reaches boiling point.
  10. However, keep stirring and cook for another five minutes.
  11. After five minutes of boiling, remove the mixture from heat.
  12. Add to it hips and vanilla.
  13. Stir everything together.
  14. Pour this mixture into the pan you prepared earlier.
  15. Let the fudge cool down in the pan for around three hours till it is set in shape.
  16. Take out the fudge after this time, place on a cutting board and cut according to your desired shape.

  18. Sprinkle over crushed candy for great presentation.
