Moringa oleifera is a multipurpose tree, belonging to flowering plant family Moringaceae. It is native to parts of Asia and Africa and has very high nutrition values. Every part of this 2-foot-long tree is edible but the most commonly used part is the green Moringa leaf. Moringa leaves, both fresh and dried, are rich in proteins, vitamins (A, B and C), minerals and amino acids. 100 grams of fresh Moringa leaves have two times the protein content of an equal amount of yogurt and four times the calcium of an equal amount of milk.
