Ouran Host Club: Bishie Anime

For all you anime viewers and those who follow the dubbed shows on Cartoon Network or Adult Swim there has been mass amount of anime that is now for girls! You heard about Love Hina and Mahou Sensei Negima the all girl and one boy anime shows showing perverted activities for boys to enjoy. Now there are many shows for girls to view but with HOT guys.

First there is the latest show Ouran Host Club this anime is about of course a host club. A host club is also, more recently known as a night club where female clients may pay for a man’s company. Host clubs are typically found in more populated areas of Japan, and are famed for being numerous in Tokyo districts such as Kabuki-cho. Male hosts often flirt with their clients and pour their drinks, usually alcoholic, during conversation. The conversations are generally light hearted and depending on the host, they have a variety of entertainment skills, be it simple magic tricks or loads of charisma with which to tell a story. Hosts are often aged between 18 and their mid-20s.

In this anime Ouran High School is an exclusive institution for students from wealthy and affluent families. One exception is scholarship student Haruhi Fujioka. One day after an accident, Haruhi contracts a massive debt with the school’s “Host Club”; a group of six rich and attractive boys who spend their time charming and entertaining the school’s girls for profit. She was to pay back as being the “dog” for the club but then is found to be a natural as a host. She is to disguise her self as a boy and host one thousand clients to clear her debt. During her work she has to put up with the crazy themes that they create like tropical paradise and cherry blossom season.

This anime is like Hana Kimi mixed with Mahou Sensei Negima. Its great for girls because they show many types of bishounens in the anime such as lolita shota and Megane. Its basically an anime that girls can watch their type of boy do stuff. There is some comedy romance and crossdressing involved but it is a rated PG13. The aniem is created by BONES production and the manga is by Bisco Hatori. The manga is out in America with issue 6 right now but the anime has yet to be licensed in the US.
