This is a wonderful recipe to serve snacks in a new way. Anyone can prepare these biscuits on a stick, so all you need to do is to get a couple of one inch long sticks and insert them in the biscuits just before baking.
Ingredients
  • Flour - 1¾ cups
  • Salt - ½ tsp
  • Baking powder - 3 tsps
  • butter cubes (chilled) - 4 to 6 tbsps
  • Milk - ¾ cup
  • Butter (molten) - 4 tbsps
Instructions
  1. Firstly set your oven to 450 degrees and preheat it.
  2. Now in order to prepare the dough, take a bowl and add the baking powder, flour, salt and chilled butter.
  3. Now add ¾ cups of milk into it and stir it well until it thickens into a batter.
  4. When the batter is prepared, take it out in the kneading tray and dust some flour on it in order to make it non sticky.
  5. Knead it extensively and once it is kneaded, take the rolling pin and roll it over it to make it thin. Make sure that you roll it till it is only half an inch thick.
  6. Now once you have rolled the kneaded dough, its time to cut it.
  7. Take your cookie moulds and cut out biscuits out of the mixture.
  8. While shaping your biscuits, make sure that the mould you use is ½ by ½ by 3 inches.
  9. Now take the pastry brush and brush the biscuits with molten butter and insert a 3-inch long stick at the base of every biscuit.
  10. The biscuits are ready to be baked now.
  11. By now the oven should be ready for baking, so place the biscuits in the biscuits tray and place it in the oven.
  12. Keep on checking the biscuits and take them out when they turn golden brown.
  13. This might take 5 to 10 minutes.
  14. Once the biscuits are done take them out and cool them before serving.
