Aloha Breeze Tower Fan a Good Investment

About a year ago we were living in an apartment and had our central air go out about the same time the temperatures outside got into the 90s. Since our landlord wouldn’t do any repairs and we couldn’t afford an air conditioner we were forced to invest in a new fan in the hopes it would cool the room a bit.

The fan we purchased, the Aloha Breeze Tower Fan, turned out to be one of the best investments we ever made.

When we bought the Aloha Breeze fan, it was about $30. We could have bought a more traditional fan for less, but we have a small daughter and believed this one would be a bit safer around her. What we discovered, is the fan had a lot of features we wouldn’t find with a more traditional product.

The first thing I noticed when I turned on the Aloha Breeze was how quiet it was. If you’re standing across the room from it, you won’t hear it and, even at close distances, you don’t have to shout over it like you do other fans.

After running it for a few minutes, I learned just how well it worked. Our room, which had been in the 90s, was cooling now that the tower fan was bringing in fresh air through our screen door and oscillating just enough to get it circulating. It isn’t quite as good as an air conditioner. But, it is definitely much better than the variety of standing fans, box fans and window fans we have.

In fact, I’m giving serious consideration to buying a second tower fan for our bedroom. Part of the reason for this is the additional features the Aloha Breeze offers. This includes a remote control; something that comes in handy if you want to turn the fan off but are too tired to get out of bed to do it (the fan itself actually has a built-in storage compartment for the remote so you don’t lose it when you’re not using it). It also includes a timer; something that really comes in handy if you know you’re going to want the fan turned off at some point during the night but will be too tired to get out of bed or figure out to use the remote control.

When you combine that with the fan’s space-saving design (it would take up a corner in our room and would be easy to get around), I don’t see a better fan on the market. I’m almost glad I had a lousy landlord. Without him, we probably would never have bought it and discovered such a great product.
